Asian Nose Surgery

Asian nose surgery is correctly known as surgery of the Oriental nose or Oriental rhinoplasty. In slang, Asian nose surgery is called an Asian nose job. In North America, some Asians refer to those who undergo the procedure as "Twinkies." Asian nose surgery is performed on individuals of Asian descent. The nose of many orientals is naturally wide. It may also be flat. Some plastic surgeons perform Asian nose surgery to reduce the size and/or to give the nose a lift. This is purely cosmetic plastic surgery. In some instances, the effect is quite dramatic, providing the individual with a Caucasian-style nose. Alternatively, the surgeon can be culturally sensitive and reduce the broad features rather than substantially alter them. The extent of the procedure depends upon the individual needs and preferences. Whatever the choice, be aware of the consequences of rhinoplasty. In Asian nose surgery, the doctor will need to cut and move the nasal bones toward the center. This cannot be reversed. In instances of malpractice, it is harder to restore the nose than many other procedural problems. A good lawyer, however, may be able to obtain compensation.
